  • How to Make Chocolate Covered Peanut Bars Recipe?

    1. First, fill a small pot with water and place a bowl on it, this bowl should not touch the water, it should stand on the pot. This method, which we call bain-marie, is ideal for melting chocolate. Melt 3/4 of your chocolate chips in this way.
    2. In the meantime, prepare your filling and stir the chocolate occasionally. After it melts, remove it from the pot of water and put a damp cloth under it and set aside. Add the remaining 1/4 of the chocolate and shape your filling while waiting for it to cool down completely. If you have a thermometer, check it; it should have dropped to 28 degrees. If you don't have a thermometer, put the joint of your little finger in it and wait for it to feel cold.
    3. After it cools down, put it on your hot water that is still steaming for 20 seconds and heat it again. It needs to rise to 31-32C. I can almost hear you saying why are we heating it again? This is chocolate tempering. If we don't do it, our chocolate will melt at room temperature. But if you want to take it out of the fridge and consume it immediately, you can melt the chocolate and use it.
    4. Mix all the ingredients except the chocolate in a bowl. Try to make a ball, if it stays together, it's done. Taste it, if you want it sweeter, add a little more molasses.
    5. If it seems a little dry, add a little more milk, but be careful, even 2-3 spoons may be enough. If it is too wet, it will not come together. I also added walnut pieces, you can add walnuts, hazelnuts, peanut pieces according to your preference.
    6. Roll out with a rolling pin and cut into small rectangles. You can also make different shapes, for this you can cut off your mixture and give it the shape you want, it can be a ball or a flat cookie shape. If you wish, you can also consume it like a cookie.
    7. Finally, put it in the melted chocolate and take it out with a fork and put it on a wire. Put it in the fridge and wait for it to freeze for half an hour. While it is on the wire, you can sprinkle coconut and decorate it.
