Ingredients for Red Lentil Soup with Turmeric
For red lentil soup with turmeric:
- 1tea glassred lentils
- 1pieceonion
- 50-grambutter or margarine
- 1teaspoonturmeric
- 5water glassThis
- 8-10droplemon juice
- 1teaspoonsalt
- 1/2teaspooncumin
For the topping of red lentil soup with turmeric:
- 1tablespoonbutter
- 1teaspoonred pepper powder
How to Make Red Lentil Soup with Turmeric?
- Put the lentils in a strainer and wash them by rubbing them. Add them to the pot. Add the chopped onions, turmeric, solid oil and water and put them on the stove.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, until the lentils turn yellow and open (they open in 15-20 minutes after they start boiling)
- Blend the soup. Add salt, cumin and 8-10 drops of lemon juice.
- Melt the butter on the stove to add when serving. Add the chili powder while it foams. Stir and remove from the stove, do not burn the butter.
- You can serve it by pouring a teaspoon over soup bowls.
