Ingredients for Enchiladas De Pollo Recipe
- 4pieceTortilla bread(small)
- 2water glasscheddar cheese(planed)
- 1pieceboiled chicken breast(penetrated)
For the Sauce:
- 4tablespoonoil
- 1.5tablespoonreputation
- 1/2pieceonion
- 2externalgarlic
- 1pinchsalt
- 1pinchblack pepper
- 1pinchoregano
- 1/4teaspooncumin
- 1heaping tablespoonhot pepper paste
- 1/2literchicken broth
- 1tablespoondark chocolate
For Service:
- 4tablespoonstrained yoghurt
- 1pinchcoriander leaves
- 2piecelime slice
How to Make Enchiladas De Pollo Recipe?
For the sauce, fry the oil and flour in a medium-sized pot until the smell comes out. Add the onion and garlic, cut into very small cubes, and continue to fry until the onions become transparent.
Add salt, spices and pepper paste to the pot in that order, then fry for another 2-3 minutes and add the chicken broth to the mixture, stirring little by little. Then add the chocolate. Cook the smooth sauce on low heat for another 3-4 minutes until it reaches a thick, fluid consistency.
Place the desired amount of cheese and chicken in the middle of the tortillas and roll them up like a roll without closing the edges.
Pour half of the sauce on the bottom of a medium sized baking tray and place the rolled up tortillas on top, leaving no space between them. Pour the remaining sauce over the tortillas, covering them completely, add some more cheese on top and bake in a 200 degree oven for 10-15 minutes.
Serve the hot enchiladas straight from the oven with a small amount of strained yogurt, lime slices and cilantro leaves on top or on the side. Enjoy!
