For the Lemon Cream:

  • 3piecelemon zest
  • 1/2water glassgranulated sugar
  • 4piecelemon juice(125ml.)
  • 4pieceegg yolk(small size)
  • 75-grambutter

For the Cake:

  • 110-grambutter (kept at room temperature)
  • 2pieceegg
  • 100-gramreputation
  • 100-grampowdered sugar
  • 1/2teaspoonsalt
  • 1teaspoonbaking powder
  • 1teaspoonvanilla extract
  • 1piecelemon zest




How to Make Lemon Cream Baked Dessert Recipe?

  1. To prepare the lemon cream; grate the peels of 3 lemons, being careful not to remove the white parts. Add half a cup of granulated sugar into the food processor and process until the sugar turns lemon yellow.
  2. Place a sauce pan filled with 1 cup of water on the stove and reduce the heat after the water boils. Place the mixing bowl on top and add the lemon juice. Add the lemon peel and granulated sugar on top.
  3. After adding the egg yolks and half a teaspoon of salt, stir continuously for 10 minutes without stopping.
  4. After 10 minutes, set the heated mixture aside and add 75 grams of diced butter little by little, mixing it into the mixture.
  5. Then put it back on the stove and cook it for 20 minutes while stirring, then check the consistency. If the mixture has thickened slightly and stays on the spoon or spatula you stirred, your lemon cream is ready. After it has come to room temperature, put it in a jar and leave it in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  6. To prepare the cake; add butter, eggs, flour, powdered sugar, salt, baking powder and vanilla extract to a bowl and beat with a mixer.
  7. Grate the lemon peels on top, mix and transfer to the baking bowl.
  8. Add 2 tablespoons of the lemon cream you have prepared, mix and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Serve with whipped cream and a little more lemon curd on top. Enjoy!
